    So a lot of land around monroe county is owned by the feds as part of Hoosier national forest, how to the maintained crops work?
    There is hundreds of acres of freshly harvested fields owned by the feds that would be great to hunt on, are they good to go?

    Some areas, yes. Most of the floodplain area that is row crops on the north and south sides of 46 between Bloomington and Nashville is "huntable" Used to hunt it after work on a regular basis during bow season. It is self-check in and generally gets hunted quite a bit.
