Hunting sugar creek conservation area

[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]Has anyone hunted sugar creek conservation area next to Turkey Run State Park?
wondering how the deer hunting is[/FONT][/FONT]

I've hunted it the last couple years, bow season is pretty good. Opening day of gun season is packed with people, won't be doing that again. All in all though if you don't mind a good hike it's a pretty good place to hunt

I’m only bow hunting for now and northwest in La Salle and Willow Slough. I’d like to get farther south with some better terrain and was thinking it would be similar to Turkey Run. I don’t mind hiking seems to make it worth it.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same as turkey run as far as terrain goes.
