    Oh well. It was an entertaining idea while it lasted.

    "(D) not be a rifle that has a barrel less than eighteen (18) inches or is designed or redesigned to be fired from the shoulder."

    What is the first clause of this trying to ban? AOWs?

    A 16" 458s is legal to hunt with in IN, correct? What if it is cut to 10.5" (with proper SBR rules) - is it legal to use for deer in IN?

    I would assume so because 458 is a legal RIFLE caliber. You might want to call a local DNR just to make sure though.
