    Our coils were covered in a blanket of lint from dryer vent. You couldn't rinse with a hose, had to remove cover and manually pull it off.

    I have always wondered why it is common practice to put t temp sensitive device right by a heat/lint source...:dunno:

    I have moved both systems as far away from the vents as feasible but they are still impacted from this.

    I hate cotton woods. I am always amazed at how much crap I can wash out of my unit. Thanks for the reminder. I will need to wash mine out again in a few weeks.
