    Went to the OP's soon to be new home today. Nice place all around except the HVAC.
    Furnace was cranking. Checked the gas press. at the rail and it was 8.8"s of water column. Wow. Should be 3.5

    We tuned it to get the most with the least and he is now saving his pennys for a new properly sized system

    Great to see him again.

    Thanks to CM for the checkup. The zoning seems to allow the unit to do a good job keeping the proper floor toasty even without running the burners at the limit. I didn't have any complaints from the wife or kids about the temp over the weekend.
