My garage is where it will probably happen but anyone have a good butcher they like to use?

    Yes, I do.
I have a guy that I use every year.
Very reasonable, and makes the most delicious sausage.
    His name is Geneo.
    Tell him I said hello.

Remington meats it is a bit of a drive but reasonable.. and good tasting products. But if gun season... they fill up kinda quick.

NWI is just a little vague.
If you could narrow it down to a city, or even a county, it might help get a better answer for you.

Thanks, Lowell would be great. Most of my hunting will be in La Salle and I might try Willow Slough. If I’m able to get a deer then anything on my drive back north on 41 would work.

Hanford packing in Thayer is also good, but is further south on 55 than the Butcher Block in Lowell. There's also Buck Yeah in Lake Village, just off 41. I've not hunted in years, so I've never used him, but I know people who have and were happy with the results. He's on Facebook, or pm me for a number if you need it.

Stopped in Hanford they said they weren’t taking deer but would process if I brought in off the bone.

The butcher block isn’t too far out of the of way.
Hopefully I’ll be stoping by this weekend

I wouldn't bring anything to Realistic. Been there a couple times and my experiences sucked. Same with another family member.

Good to know. I’d like to do it myself but don’t know if I’ll have time and I don’t have a grinder. Might be getting one though.

I think you would be money ahead even buying tools and doing it yourself. It is a time burglar though.
