What is I-70 like between the Greencastle exit and the airport?
Probably be through there around 5:30 a.m.
I drove last Friday and it wasn't bad. Between TH and Brazil it was down to one lane in a spot, but after Brazil it was fine. The way back was good as well.
but, new construction spots were slated to start work in other spots.
Personally, I always take 70 and rarely get burned. Even with the occasional single lane its still usually quicker than 40.
I saw a sign on I-70 WB this afternoon that said the WB lanes would be restricted to one lane west of Indy all weekend. I'm not seeing anything about the EB lanes coming into Indy though...except east of Indy. That will also be restricted to one lane.
Yesterday the EB Lanes (toward Indy) of I-70 during PM Rush Hour had a 10 mile+ Stoppage. Estimating, West of Plainfield exit and somewhere East of Cloverdale Exit. I was West bound
