I am traveling to Florida where I will be leaving my firearm in the car while I am on a 4 day cruise. My question is how am I legally able to carry in the car in FL? I am reading on one website it has to be unaccessable? Can I not have it on me in the car? I thought I could carry in Florida on my LTCH????

Be advised they take their seatbelt laws very serious in FL. I was pulled over by not one but two locals when I was spotted doing about 25 in my wife's minivan, leaving a gas station. It was $100 + ticket. I had step out of the vehicle and come to them, while they maintained cover. I thought they had me confused with a serial killer or something. I guess I shouldn't have laughed at them when they told me why I was stopped.

Florida and Indiana have reciprocity, so you are able to carry while in FL. Just can't open carry, everything else is pretty much fair game.
