Today I went to Tactical shotgunner and bought some stuff. I walked out with a Beretta 92FS and Blackhawk Serpa holster. I'm not sure if I can post pictures but I will try.

Beretta 92FS...VERY NICE gun!!! Looks like it already has night sights on it. If your hand it large enough, I would suggest a set of Hogue rubber grips for it and you'll be set.

The Beretta has been in TONS of movies (ex. Mel Gibson's character in Lethal Weapon carried one) and I've known a lot of PO's who have carried that gun. I've shot one in the past and they are very straight shooters with very few hiccups. The slide action is nice and smooth and recoil is mild (in 9mm). I have small hands and the grip/frame is just a little bit too big for myself or I'd own one. NOTE: My wife has much larger hands/longer fingers than I do and her first gun, by her choice, was a Beretta 84 Couger in .380..a very similar gun in a smaller caliber. We traded that gun for a G26/9mm when we had our first child, and boy do I wish we had that gun back. It's the ONLY gun we've ever traded away that I, later, wish we'd have found a way to keep! Hey, it's a Beretta!!!

You made an exelent choice. :rockwoot:Carried one in the Coast Guard, and feel in love. The only thing I really do not care for is the grips. Easily solved with a pair of hogue rap around rubber grips. I do not carry mine, because it's a limited edition bought for me by my father, while in the service. They are easy to maintain, tough, dependable, and accurate.

Just have to chime in with some 92 porn!

Nice choice! You'll like the Beretta, one of the smoothest and most beautiful service guns out there, IMHO. Very dependable, very accurate.

Nice, you will love the Beretta 92FS and Blackhawk Serpa holster. Bretta 92FS and Glock 17, my two favorite handguns. I had my Serpa holster for my Glock for about 3 months now I really like it. I sold my Beretta bad mistake, but I needed money at the time. every time I thing of about the sell I just want to :bash: myself. You did made an excellent choice:rockwoot:
