I appreciate the feedback everyone. I was so stressed out yesterday my head was pounding. I crashed early last night and feel a litte better this morning. I'm going to let my boss work on this guy. After what he did to me yesterday, I'm not the right person to be dealing with him at this point. As mad as I am about what happened, I still want to be professional about this thing.

What kind of work / industry, OP?

    Just morbidly curious...

I'm going to presume either HVAC or refrigeration?

It sounds like you work for a company so aren't they the ones that pay you for your time? You should get paid and it should be up to the company/AR rep to get the money from the guy.

Sounds more like an "independent contractor" that contracts through a company type set up.

    Just a WAG, though.
