    Got lucky on the 'bay and scored a great deal on Hogue's first knife. It's overbuilt, buttery smooth and I freaking love the stonewashed blade finish. This is the 4" version with black aluminum handle. Still on the fence with the handle.

    I haven't really used it yet. It has a new type of locking mechanism that seems to work well.

    I'm kinda worried about the longevity of the lock spring. I watched Elishewitz talk about it on youtube, but he kinda glazed over the spring while stressing all of the other points. The smooth aluminum handle is different for me since I am used to predominantly G-10 handles. The Gmascus version wasn't a sweet deal like this one was at the time of purchase.
