I got to handle a couple of Kahrs tonight

Boy were they nice! A .45 and a 9mm. I was very empressed. I am sure they have many fans here. Might just have to save for one....

My buddy just bought a Kahr CW45. I'm less than impressed so far. The slide lock slipped out several times when we took it to the range. shoot a couple rounds,jam. clear shoot a couple times jam. then, when the mag was emptied, slide wouldn't lock back. That was when we noticed the slide lock was out a little bit.Pushed it back in, and the same thing again. It's going to go back to the factory. If it comes back and functions flawlessly, I will accept it as a fluke issue. Otherwise......

I am not sure which models they were. I was visiting a relative that was showing me his guns. LOTS of guns. I was going through them fast. Except when I got to that SWEET Colt Commander 9mm. Had to fondle that one for awhile.

Eh, I don't know -

Have to load the pistol using the slide stop lever only.

Recoil spring has to be changed often.

Reliability is just so so from all the reviews I have read.

I carry and shoot a CW40 so far over 500 rounds through it and only two failures to feed, using practice 180G Ball ammo. No failures in 100 rounds of Hornaday carry ammo.

I've got a CW9 and a K40 that I'm pretty fond of. Since I discovered Kahr my other carry guns spend most of their life in the safe. I'm thinking real hard about a PM45.
