life is rough, and then you win a Henry, then life is awesomer than before.
    Yup, that sums it up.

p.s. I totally bit at the bait from the OP title about waiting periods

I know, I know, there are no waiting periods in Indiana, but it feels like it.
I have to wait until tomorrow to go pick up my new toy.

I won it at (.22WMR version) our local FNRA banquet but of course I couldn't bring it home with me...
I'm going to have a hard time getting to sleep tonight.

I feel your pain. I hope it subsides today.

Congratulations and thanks for your support.

True story: a suave, dangerously handsome young man was wandering in the hallway looking for buckets to dump tickets in, sipping a Sam Adams, when Mgderf snapped around and proclaimed "I just won a rifle!"

I could tell he was disappointed.:D

Thanks for the moral support Gary.
Supporting the FNRA is easy. Waiting on a new toy is rough work.

I escaped from Ill. a few years ago. I remember wait times all to well.
You can feel blessed that the wait time in Indiana is matter of the clock and not the state legislature.

    Enjoy that new Henry.

I always find it funny how everyone these days complains about how long stuff takes to arrive. When I was younger anything you ordered took 6-8 weeks. It was just the way it was.

I know this is not exactly the same thing as the OP was talking about but it just made me think how times have changed.

    Congrats on the win.

    I hear you.
Try to explain a "photo-mat" to a 20 something and watch the look on their face.
Better yet, ask them if they know what a "party-line" was.

Kevin Bacon is doing what he can to educate them...
