    Well, it shouldn't.
But people don't read our opinions.
And if he'd not state his, I'd be happy to let him entertain me.
But since he wants to be vocal against my right to self defense, I'm gonna have to pass (sic) on him.

Only if he’s on fire, and maybe not even then.

I might listen (might) to mr. De Niro a bit more if I saw him working here in the heat in a steel mill, making our wages, while dealing with issues such as toilet paper, paper towels, spare parts, and safety equipment being hard to find.
Cause with the economy down, we're running, but taken a big hit also.

It’s said that Robert de Niro actually worked in a blast-furnace plant under an alias to prepare himself for the role of Mike in “The Deer Hunter”; but he’s probably forgotten how lucky he was that he never had to work in one for more than a few weeks.

Wonder whether they gave him a chance to actually burn out the tap hole?

The guys who work in the BF and BOF plants have my respect, as do the guys who set the carbon electrodes in the primary aluminum smelters (the molten salt electrolyte is a “cool” 975 degrees C) where I spent a lot of my engineering career.
