I joined the dark side. G23 Gen 4

I went and picked up my new Gen4 Glock 23 today. I absolutely love it. I am taking it to the range tomorrow afternoon. I put XS Big Dot sights on as soon as I got home.

Congrats, I carry an old scuffed/scarred 2nd gen, and put sixty rounds through my G-27 2.5 gen yesterday at Popguns. Go to Wal-Mart and buy .40 food for it, ammo prices supposedly increase tomorrow they say.

The only thing buying a Gen4 G23 ever did for me was make me buy a Gen4 G27

Congrats! Love my G23. I put a Storm Lake compensator on mine, helps a little with recoil and that inch of stainless barrel stickin out looks pretty cool too.

I put 70 rounds through it this afternoon. It function flawlessly as I knew it would. It will take some more practice to get use to the Big Dot sights, but I expected a learning curve. Recoil with the new recoil system isn't bad at all. Now to get a good holster.

I've never been a glock fan at all. I owned a g33 for about a week once, but man I've got to get me a 27. Wish I knew someone who had one I could shoot, maybe I'd hate it and save myself a lot of money

I like the XS sights. It is going to take some practice to get my accuracy up, but in my opinion they are the only sights for a defensive handgun.
