My deepest condolences. Time heals all wounds they say... When You are ready another furry friend in a shelter will be there, waiting, as a grateful and loving companion.

I am very sorry for your loss. When dogs become so close it is very hard to let go. You have my sincerest condolences.

I have two chocolate labs that are my girls. I dread the day that I have to put one down... I can't imagine. Sorry for the loss.

Once again I'm sorry for your loss. I wrote this for my four legged friend but it's your if you like. It's kinda corny and not very good but here goes.

I still remember the first we met, you seemed so helpless and alone.

I have watched you grow and become one of the family. You positive attitude always so cheery.

Your always there when I come home, your greetings assure me I'm not alone.

You keep me warm when the nights are cold, you can be shy but also bold.

You bring joy to my life just being here, and you protect me without fear.

You seem to know when I'm feeling down, and your always there to help me feel sound.

We sometimes share a meal and you never complain, even though my cooking can be plain.

Without you I wouldn't know what to do, I'll always remember all the adventures we've been through.

Your my best friend to the end, I love you my dear friend.

I know you love me too and it's unconditional, even though our relationship is somewhat non traditional.

Your my dog, my best friend. I will love you till the end.

So sorry for your loss, 2 years ago we lost my Father in Law and our "beloved" Murphy within 3 days of each other.
I feel your pain my friend, we now have 2 golden retrievers that helped fill the void.

Sorry for the loss of your friend, i'm glad you gave him 7 good years. We have 3 dogs right now, 2 are still pretty much pups. Sometimes I wonder what the heck I was thinking, they are a handful. But they make me smile, I sometimes say I have paw prints on my heart. :wwub:
I see you plan to get another rescue, best wishes in your search!

Sorry to hear it. We have had to put a few "furry buddies" down. It's very difficult. They steal your heart & become your family, for sure. Time will fill the void, but you never forget your buddy.

Sorry for your loss, 1911ly. My wife and I have been there twice and saying goodbye is so difficult. Remember the good times together. You were a blessing for each other.
