I made my own plate rack!

More rack pics... It was late evening so the lighting is not so good but you'll get the idea. The 2x width uses a 5/8" ground rod we found with plastic pipe as spacers. It was long enough to put a mower blade as a spinner on the end. Side pic shows how we used the galvanized angle irons we had. We had a bunch of those perforated pieces. They are not beauty queens but they work well...

Hey that gives me an idea of what to do with my old lawnmower blades!

If you hit it on the lower part a 556 or 300 will make it spin. A friend tried his 450BM and it actually bent it before it had time to spin. Had to replace the blade. Terminal ft-lbs energy is an amazing thing to see.

Another idea I've thought about is making the blade horizontal and stacked up 3-4 or 5 high with spacers. Mower blades are very hard.

We use Midway's pistol and rifle targets for precision/dial it in/get your $ out stuff.

We use plastic corrugated real estate signs to hold the 8 1/2 x 11 paper targets. You can get 3 across using binder clips.

But it sure is fun hitting steel at 50, 100, 150, 200 yds and not having to run out and change targets.
