I need professional kitchen knives sharpened at least once a month.
I myself am practicing on old crappy knives with an old crappy whetstone.
until I get better at it and get new whetstones, I need my knives done by a professional.
I'm in Greenfield and now drive to downtown indy m-f
    any recommendations?
    thanks

If you've got one around your area, call your local JoAnn's Fabrics. I know the one in Castleton used to have a guy come by like once a week or so and pick up peoples knives to be professionally sharpened. Don't know if this is common to all stores but it could be a local guy who has a deal with them. Lots of those sewing ladies like to keep their scissors nice and sharp.

Rob shows up and Parabellum some Saturdays and does a great job making razors out of ordinary blades.

I come to Greenfield every Sunday...I have a large tri-stone Norton set that I will sell to you, (Brand new, retail $179) for $40. I will also demonstrate how to sharpen a knife or two to a shaving edge. YOU can do it...(unless you are physically handicapped)
