I need a new knife

I was wondering what you knife experts thought was a nice cheap knife to skin squirrels with.

Sharpen a paring knife from your kitchen, thats a cheap as it gets. make a cut across the back at the last rib work around to the belly, and pull skin off and over legs and head from both sides, cut off head and feet(i use pruners for this), then remove inards.

You can get a super cheap paring knife for around .99 cents. If you tear it up, toss it and get a new one.

Nice, cheap, squirrels. Well, I'd go for a Mora. They're cheap, super sharp, and they are built for skinning critters.

4" Rapala fillet knife. Perfect skinning knife for small game as well as fillet knife for pan fish.

I like a small Case or Buck folder for small game. Look at garage sales.

Look at one of the Buck's Omni Hunter's. ( fixed blade of course) They come in various sizes and they are USA made.

Filet knife is really hard to beat for skinning tree rats.
