As noted up thread, the issue you describe is still your problem!!!

I'm residential hvac.

Nothing like crawling in a crawl apace and catching your belt/pants on a nail the lazy cable guy or chuck in a truck placed in the joist to hold their crap up.

I believe what my Dad carried was a Script'o lighter, its body was a see through blue plastic so you could tell when it needed lighter fluid. When I smoked I carried a small Zippo.
