How long a distance we talking? This is a great light for getting a pinpoint beam of light out fairly far: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C7SRDFZ The Cool White (CW) version will seem like more light, but the Neutral White (NW) will be more clear. Comes with a battery and recharges via USB.

I appreciate all of the recommendations but vitamink's mention of the Surefire Hellfighter made me all tingly in my special parts. I have to fabricate a power cable but with the on board IR filter, this one will spend a fair bit of time in search of coyotes in addition to general lighting needs around the homestead.
