I received my Cerakoted slide today.

I had Hoosier Gun Coat refinish the slide for my XDM. It came back today, and it looks great . He refinished it with Graphite Black, (smooth as silk) and installed Meprolight sights.
Ernie was a pleasure to work with, his communication was great, the price was reasonable, and the turnaround time was well within his estimate.
Durability is still an unknown, but I will report back as I use, and carry it for a while.
Based on my experience I will be sending my Colt .380 Government to him soon.

OK I figured someone would call me out on the no photos thing. I just thought that with my limited photography skills my photos would just look like a black slide, and I'm sure you have all seen one of those. So by popular demand here they are.

Now if I find out that you just tricked me into this to make fun of my photo skill there's gonna be trouble, I know where to find you.
