    Yea!
I can get all hits on target, but constantly shooting low
left with a group the size of a paper plate.

Tried 20ft and 30ft same thing.

Same thing with xd9 sc and the Colt 1911 5" or the 38 snubbie.

    I might need an instructor.

I used to shoot pretty good 25 years ago, missed marksman by 2 shots
    in the Air Force.

Try pulling the trigger as slow and smooth as possible and work your way up. See how that helps. A smooth trigger break helps me a lot.

Screw the charts, just dry fire and ensure the sites don't move. This is the only way to solve your problem, since you cannot ever tell if you are jerking to the side during live fire recoil.

Also, to get your trigger squeeze proper, you need a proper grip. Do not under estimate the grip itself. Google the "two thumbs forward" grip. It solved all my issues, and dry during with this grip is how I went from sucking to nailing the bullseye.

PS, Follow all safety rules! And, start at 10 ft. then work your way out...

Saw a Hickok45 video where he suggested using randomly inserted snap-caps along with your regular rounds. When you hit on a snap-cap, you should see what you're doing wrong.

You are squeezing your entire hand/grip while pressing the trigger. Everything in your grip should be concrete and steel.... no movement, except for your trigger finger.

Low-left is the scourge of the right-handed handgun shooter. Trigger control while doing nothing else is the most challenging thing to master in marksmanship.

Low left is combination of a PIP (Pre-Ignition Push--nothing to do with Gladys Knight :):) and the milking, convulsing method of "squeezing" the trigger. I hate the word "squeeze" to describe trigger press!

Instead, steadily increase pressure on the trigger straight rearward until the gun fires--a surprise break. Then, decrease pressure on the trigger to reset and no further. Repeat.

A good, fundamental class is highly recommended, such as Handgun I (and Handgun II) we offer on a regular basis.

Do you see the sight lift in recoil?

Are you moving more than your trigger finger?

How much finger do you have on the trigger?

    Is your grip consistent?

    Try double plugging.

I do private instruction and I think I can help. It is a lot easier to help when I can see what you are doing.

Check out my website. Shoot me an email.

Where do you live? Perhaps we could recommend an instructor. As you can see, there are several around here who would be excited to have your business.

    Yea!
Thanks very much for your input fella's!:D

Didnt even think about grip, Ive been dry
fireing a bit here and concentrating on grip and
Im getting less or no movement on the sights.

Also the slow press on the trigger I need to work on.

Im a bit financialy challenged so it might be a month or so
before I can get any classes.

Dry fire I can keep my XD9 sc still now but my Colt 1911
    is harder to keep still.

If you are looking for an instructor our company is located in NW Indiana. There are several issues it could be and no one can diagnose you over the internet. If you want to PM me I will give you our business number. Even if you don't take any Tyr 1 Classes I will be more than happy to discuss some things that may help.

    Regards,

    Toby

definitely work on the grip. I focus on keeping the pressure on the middle and ring finger of the strong hand. I had similar issues late last summer. Coach helped tremendously. He is very good at diagnosing and providing a cure.

Also as mentioned, dry fire (and man do I hate it). The sights don't lie. I had a little issue with the sights moving with SHO/WHO dry fire. Trigger press and grip, start there.
