LGS across from my Santa Fe office had a Gyrojet in when I went over there at lunch. Kewl!

First read about these Gyrojets in a Larry Niven story in the '70s.

Sorta silly concept (the little rocket shells kept accelerating after leaving the bore and didn't achieve full velocity until a bit further out), but . . . well, gotta love American innovation in the '60s, don't you?

Very cool! I've always wanted to shoot one to see what it was really like. I think I'd have a hard time justifying the 1300 just to try it though (and finding any ammo haha).
