Have you had any rough feeding on your 327's? Mine wants to hang up once in a while, like it's not lining up properly to the chamber. Only fired a couple hundred rounds so far, so not worried, yet.

    .

No, mines been as smooth as a baby's... well, you know.
I did have a slight issue at first with some light primer strikes.
I sent it back to Rice Lake Wisconsin, and when it came back it was even slicker than when I bought it new.

    Don't baby the lever.
Run the action like you mean it.
I've also read that you do not want to tilt the rifle too far to the left???

Don't know why that would cause a hang-up, but...
If it doesn't clear up in another box or so I'd contact customer service.
They will make it right, and they'll do it quickly.

    Fantastic customer service.

A few of the problems were from tilting it (probably to the left), but it's still not as smooth as I expected. I need to shoot it more to find out if it's going to get better, and maybe try a couple more ammo types. Not that there's that many to try.

Well, I went to the NRA meeting in Indy today and stopped by the Henry booth.
I asked a rep if they had a sample of the American Eagle on display, and he proudly said, "Yes, yes we do. It's right over there."

I told him I had just won one of these and he looked at me like I told him I was a martian.
He asked where I had won one and I told him on the Henry Rifle forum.
His face lit up and he said, "Oh, I'm the one who is supposed to get you out your rifle!"

He said as soon as he gets back to his emails he will get my rifle on it's way to me.
I'm hoping for next week sometime.

It was then I noticed they had a computer screen set up with entries for a drawing.
I looked to see they were giving away another American Eagle and I wondered if they would award me a SECOND one, when a rep said, "By all means. That same entry is also eligible to win a $20,000 Polaris General.
    I signed up...we'll see.

When I got you in the INGO secret santa I told my wife "hey this guy won an AR then turned around and gave it to a family member, way cool", so that's why we tried put some effort into it. Im not surprised to see this that you won a Henry! Thats awesome couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I stumbled on this thread after searching "Henry"...I just got the catalog and some stickers in the mail today. That'll be my 1st stop tomorrow

Thank you sir, for the kind words.
You can tell your daughter that the Christmas card she made is still on my mantle in the living room, and will remain there.

It was a pleasure meeting you at the convention today MG. I tried to steal some of your luck but alas did not win anything from the wall of guns either.

I had a scheduling conflict Saturday, but I hope to go next year, when retired.
It would be cool to go with someone who knows their way around.
Out of respect for Areoflyer, I would definitely want to go to the Volquartsen booth.

Well, my FFL called today to say my new Henry American Eagle is here! YEAH!
Crap, he called 15 minutes before he closed, and no way for me to get there in time.

Oh well, he promised he would be there tomorrow.
Can't wait to pick it up...

Wheres his cup of Iced tea?

If I had a dollar for every person that's asked me if my name is Si...
Seriously, there for about a year it was 6-8 times a day!
I had one lady stop me in a bank parking lot and ask me if I was him.
When I said no, she held up a Duck Dynasty DVD with his face on it and asked me, "...are you sure?"

By the way, coffee is my "cup of tea".

    Nipprdog,
    Yes, that is at Geneo's.
I'm sure he would get a kick if you told him you recognized the shop on Ingo.
