ideas on places to rent a cabin around indy

I have 6-8 friends coming in and we are looking to rent a cabin. The goal is mid September.

It can either be 1-2 cabins but I would like it to be within an hour of metro indy and the guys want to go to a shooting range where we can shoot rifles.
Personally I would rather camp but some of these guys want 4 walls and a roof.

I was looking up near peru but that has been a wash. Any ideas on some places that fit the bill.

Hills o Brown realty in Brown County. Then shoot at Atterbury .

There is Yogi Bear campground at the knightstown exit on 70 it's only a bout a 30 minute drive east of downtown

You can search for sites that have cabins...just to make it easier.

Have no idea what you want to spend, but this is a link to a friends places. He is on the Monroe Co. line NE of Bloomington. Atterbury is not that far back up the road. Only problem might be getting in. He books well in advance and September is one of his peak times.

They have great cabins at Whitewater State Park south of Richmond and Liberty. Beautiful place with a lake that is nestled into Brookville Reservoir property; there is a very nice DNR range at Brookville and you can hunt on most of the property in season. Go to in.gov/dnr and look at their information.

i stayed in brown county state park in a cabin it had 2 pull out couches and 2 bedrooms pleanty of space and a nice deck out back. it was over by abe martin lodge there was also a wood stove if its chilly in sept. plus that puts you 30 min from atterbury and 10 min from nashville which has a micro brew if you need sunday beer.

Try Hill's o Brown in Brown County. They have a lot of cabins for rent

My wife and I have used them and it was fine

Some of the rentals they manage are really nice
