I've sat behind a set of drums a few times, but I'm a guitar player, well, I used to be, I took a few years off and am just now getting back into it heavily.

Ha! I knew you played something and were a Rush fan. I thought drums. Back into it a lot myself in the last year. Lately due to the crazy snow up here. I'm going to try and jam with you tube video when it's a more decent hour.

PM me if you are getting back into buying gear and any advice. There are some really good midrange items out there now.

About the only thing I’m in the market for now is a small (under 20 watt) guitar amp. I’m seriously looking at Orange amps, and I may upgrade my bass in the next year. Fortunately, during my divorce years ago, I managed to keep my guitars and recording gear, I have plastic totes full of mics, cables, fx pedals and so on. I have a 60s model fender twin but that thing is just brutal to be around if I get up in the zone I prefer, and it needs some work, so it’s easier and cheaper to buy something smaller and more user/neighbors friendly.:):
