    How about this.

If they really care about the children and want to do something, put their money where their mouth is!

Lets offer a buyback program to get evil assault rifles and hi-cap mags off the street, and they can have a party piling them up and burning them.

The tearful gun grabbers can donate the money to do this from their own pockets, then we will see how far their tears and emoting really goes.

They only have to donate 50$ to buy each magazine that exceeds 10 rounds that folks turn in. Then they can say they did their part to remove one magazine that can never-ever be used for a slaughter.

And...they only have to donate 2000$ to buy each evil assault rifle turned in. Then they can say they personally helped make sure that particular rifle could never be used for a massacre.

Of course we will use their absurd definition of an assault rifle and hi-cap magazine :D

Gun folks could keep their guns if they want, but lots would turn them in and the mags for the high buy back price. There is no 2A infringement in this process, and the press could show the piles of stuff being burned and the sheeple would be happy for a while.

Did you see the thread I started about the oakland ca. gun buy back ? It was on the news a few days ago, very interesting what junk they paid 200 a piece cash for.
