I think several people here don't know exactly what kind of history Colt has. Rifles, shotguns, revolvers, autos... Yes shotguns! Little bit of everything, some of the most collectible revolvers ever made: Single Action Army's, Pythons, Diamondbacks, Detective Specials, many many more, the extensive line of 1911's: Govt., Commander, Officer, Delta Elites. All the assault rifles, on and on and on...
I could probably retire if I had what one of every revolver alone would be worth.
I can't stand Colt rifles so that is why I mentioned pistols....:dunno:

if we are talking only civilian-available weapons, i'd probably go with Springfield.....all the XDs, XDMs, M1a1s, Garands, and 1911s including the FBI and USMC models *drools*

if it all weapons, then probably FN. especially since FN holds the M16 contract and M4 secondary.

    That's my opinion as well.

If it's currently produced weapons, I'd go with FN. But if it's everything in the history of the company, I'd be choosing between Colt and Remington. Personally, I'd probably go Remington.
