Broke down and ordered. Paid a few bucks more than the best deals, but very comfortable with the price...more so after the rebate arrives.

I'm curious to see how many shields end up in the classifieds after the rebate is over. Not because people are wanting to get rid of them, but priced just under NIB after someone has already nabbed the rebate seems like something the flippers will be drawn to.

I purchased one of the .45 back in April. I just couldn't pass it up for the after rebate price. I have noticed the last few days that the before rebate price has gone way up on a lot of sites. I guess they think to pick up a few $ on the last minute folks. By the way I love the gun. As for the rebate----crickets. Did receive an email from S&W saying we're sorry its taking so long to get you you're rebate. So there's that.

I filled out the rebate form and got nothing, no email, no confirmation, no love at all.
    Like Noboater Said, crickets.
Is that all there is to it?
    Just wait 8 weeks now?
