There is a thread in the legislation of the 2A (it applies there as it is regarding rifles) for SB20
SB 20 is the "Rifle Rule Fix" (atttempt) by the IGA to prevent the issues on rifle v "pistol caliber rifle" on public land.
It has passed the state senate ... and has a sponsor in the house ... don't know where assigned or when a hearing will be yet.
Its as convoluted as ever.
ANYWAY...
I just learned about the 2nd one
HB 1212
This is the "purple paint" rule they attempted to bring in w/ the rifle rule a couple of years ago; now separated out.
I don't hunt out of state, but a quick bit of research indicated that this has become common practice in many other states
to indicate "no trespassing" / "no hunting / fishing" ...
This has passed from the house to the State Senate ... no hearing or idea which committee yet.
FYI - last session I missed stuff posted down here in Great Outdoors on stuff like this so - don't want anyone to miss out.
