Very nicely done! That shot that would not be easy with a perfectly stationary target. Doing so with a target which is not stationary and may be given to attack in the event of being freed is impressive.

I don't understand why the bucks just froze when he started shooting their antlers.
They often freeze because they dont know where the shots are coming from atleast in the woods during hunting season. They dont know for sure which way to run. So they look around for you to move and give up your position. Then of course they were locked together and tired as heck.

They were also so wore out that they could barely move... Nice shooting though.

Awesome shooting, that was very impressive.

I was also impressed that the police seemed to really care about the bucks.

I had to bucks locked together a few years ago and the DNR officer did the samething just it took him 3 shots from a 12 gauge at pointblank range. They were in my pond about 100 feet from the front door of my house. We were able to free the bucks and save the one who was still alive. I have heard that officer still uses that video in trainings and at hunter safety classes.

I've never seen one freeze when my 12g goes off from the other side if the hill! I thought he wasted the energetic one on the first shot too.
