Yeah, that sounds about right for Illinois. I just feel sorry for the folks downstate in the farmland who are outnumbered and have to live by the rule of the career criminals and America haters to the north.

If you're truly from Chicago, then you'd know that more non residents non citizens and non livings vote in the elections than citizens in Cook county. How many more furlough days is this going to add for state employees?

Quinn isn't up for election until 2014, along with Durbin. By then I wonder if Illinois will still be a viable part of the US.

and just HOW is IL paying for it? They are flat BROKE!!!!!

They aren't a "viable" part right now!! Neither is Cali.....

If you read the article you'd see it's being "Privately" funded..... and the Gov kicked in the first 1,000$......
