Not only is Illinois one of thee worst states for gun rights but now a new bill proposed is making it easy for law enforcement to pry into your personal life by ways of going through your social media accounts to look for any signs of violent tendencies towards others or yourself. And likely the smallest thing they find could get you denied!
They have the FOID program, waiting periods, carry restrictions, mag restrictions, and so on. Now this..
Illinois is coming up with creative ways to restrict their citizen's right to defend themselves and their home. It helps fuel the second hand markets like Facebook groups and Armslist. Not familiar with other online avenues of circumventing the state regulations for gun sales.
Illinois has it's fair share of bad neighborhoods in the cities and towns. Violent crime, drug trade, human trafficking, etc. I have traveled all over the US for work for about a decade and seen it from different points of view. There are valleys and peaks and in all Illinois is the worst. They are broke, have failing school systems, overcrowded jails, businesses leaving instead of growing, juicing tax payers of all they can where cook county is the absolute worst. The list can go on but you get it.
The people of Illinois are continuing to have their 2A right infringed upon. It's a sad thing to see.
