Ri22o and I spent the better part of yesterday visiting the gun shops around Indy and I ended up with the Smith & Wesson SW9VE. I wanted the p99, but for my first pistol purchase I decided to go with something a little more budget minded. Also, S&W has the $50 rebate and two free magazine deal going on right now.

Haha, I was telling her about the awesome selection of rifles at Bradis and she asked why I didn't get one. I told her one would be brought home at some point. :)

I agree. I have been reading about it from other owners. The majority of the folks like them and have shot several hundred to a couple thousand rounds with no issues. I'll let you guys know what I think about it after next weekend :)

i got that gun for $99 about 3 months ago when i got my SW MP15T

Not a bad gun, consider it a glock as far as action and design.

REALLY HEAVY TRIGGER THOUGH like 12 lbs :(:(

I like my Beretta 92FS Centurion way better !!!!:rockwoot:

    But welcome to the club

I had that one in a .40 a while back. It wasn't a bad gun, but I didn't like the ridiculously heavy trigger pull. I ended up trading it for a Glock.

I was going to post on the heavy trigger pull as well. My friend has one, and has put a couple thousand rounds through it without a problem.

He shot my PX4 last weekend for the first time though and was out looking for one this weekend :).

    Good going on the pistol..........

I think most of the bad press, save for the heavy trigger pull, came from the earlier Sigma series models, not so much the current production.

Most of what I hear these days is POSITIVE, except the trigger issue, of course.

My theory is a lot of the slam jobs come from people with zero experience with the Sigma -- like myself -- and just parrot what they have heard.

Same deal with Ruger, Kahr, and a couple of other trademark names........
