Hopefully - any of you left still wondering why we were not move active and decided we did not need assistance or have more involvement at the
"SHOWCASE" event across from the NRA Convention - will now have clear understanding.
(mod's if this needs moved that's fine, but IMAGC is mostly about supporting 2A, so I thought this appropriate)

NOTICE - WE AT IMAGC DO NOT APPROVE OF, OR ADVOCATE, VIOLENCE OR ILLEGAL / THREATENING ACTIVITY OR STATEMENTS
We at Indiana Mom's Against Gun Control have just learned of an abhorrent and vile post from the founder of "Moms With Guns Demand Action" on her personal wall. This has been circulating via Facebook and Twitter like wildfire since it was posted. We are including a news media link showing the post below - be warned there may be language issues which we cannot control in the comments and such.
WE DO NOT and WILL NOT condone such violence or irresponsible behavior, or statements. Threats such as this are NOT a part of what we represent and this is counter-productive to the Second Amendment movement and against true American Freedom. We will NOT align with such people or organization who call for such actions.
We (individually, and as IMAGC) became aware of the instability of this person while planning the event in April, which occurred across the street from the NRA convention. We were removed from the planning and participation due to repeated conflicts. Conflicts which were brought about by the event founder (who is this same MWGDA founder). Her actions and statements caused serious division at the time, and risked damage to the working unity of several of the event organizers.
We remained silent at that time, in order to protect the unity of the event; to protect the integrity of ALL the groups involved at that point in time (ourselves AND the others that remained involved); and in order to protect the larger message of the whole movement and the unified group. We felt our personal and group's pride was second and also did not wish to appear to be as "running to the principal".
We can no longer maintain this silence. We, as most of the other 2A groups we do know, have distanced ourselves some time ago from this person, as we saw her as a potential threat to the cause. Having first hand witness to her extreme behavior and language, we have had no direct contact with this person since we were removed from the event in April. We have not previously issued a public statement on this, for the integrity of the overall cause. We also somewhat expected at the time that she expose her extreme positions, as we have now seen.
Her actions and words clearly DO NOT REPRESENT ANYTHING WHICH WE REPRESENT OR SUPPORT.
We will not align ourselves, our administrative team, or any of our followers with such extreme and unstable views. We do NOT condone violence or such attacks or statements.
This page appears to have been removed at this time from Facebook; which is likely a good thing. While we leave comments of all sorts - any threats or extremely derogatory comments will be deleted at the pleasure of the IMAGC Administrative team.
