Hmmm? IMPD broke assed gun, did Glock ever figure out why they wouldn’t work? Southern Armament can keep them. Maybe it was State PoPo 22’s that didn’t work? I don’t remembe4.

I believe it was ISP who had the issues when they switched from the Beretta 96's to the Glock 22 .40 and they had a few frame cracking issues, if I remember correctly...Glock replaced the Glock 22's with 17's in 9mm and that's how the ISP ended up going back to 9mm after so many years of being away from it.

Lol, wut. I have two "retired" IMPD G22s and sold a third. Actually, one was IPD because it was issued in 2002. ISP had the issues with Glocks, probably because they kept limp-wristing them.

From a guy I spoke with, ISP had a few frame cracking issues with the newly issued Glock 22's...and this was going back to 2005-06 or somewhere along that timeline?

I'm not sure what the exact issues were. But it was several years ago.
