    Ahem...yes, it's part of the "Knife" family. As we discussed, this ruling is final and not subject to appeal. I'll be looking forward to Tuesday's delivery!! :rockwoot:

    Sounds like someone is looking for a loophole in a "No more knives" rule that may or may not have been voted into law by a unanimous 50:50 vote.

    If it's between 2 layers of bread, it's a sandwich.

    Pffft. It's surrounded by a single piece of bread. It's closer to a wrap than a sandwich. If the existence of bread in proximity to meat was the defining characteristic then a Thanksgiving turkey with stuffing would be a sandwich.

    Another good question: Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?

    How could you confuse this with a knife?

    No it is not a knife.

    In obeisance to Kirk's Nth Law of the Internet, Texas statutes defines tomahawk to be a member of the club family. Knives are a separate genus, family, species, whatever.

    Texas Penal Code Chapter 46, Weapons
    Sec. 46.01. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter:
    (1) "Club" means an instrument that is specially designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death by striking a person with the instrument, and includes but is not limited to the following:
    (A) blackjack;
    (B) nightstick;
    (C) mace;
    (D)

    p.s. Texas statutes are silent as to the question of whether a hotdog is a sandwich or not.
