IMPROVISED PULL THRU FOR ALL GUN CALIBERS

You can make a simple, but effective, pull thru for most of your firearms for pennies. Take 3' of 80# test fish line(braided) and tie a durable slip knot on one end and a small ball chain (the type that comes on nail clippers is perfect) on the other end. The weight of the chain will pull the line thru the barrel and the patch (which will be secured by the slip knot) can be easily pulled thru the barrel. For a more elaborate kit you can add brush tips (made for a cleaning rod), patch material (to be cut to size) and a 1/2 ounce Nalgene bottle of CLP (I have found that anything but Nalgene will allow the CLP to migrate thru the thread).
