Plus one. 20 year old 629 four inch S&W is out of time. Call Smith. Sent it to Smith (their dime) and one week later my 629 is back with a new barrel and an apology.

Let me give you an amen from the congregation. Every revolver I have ever owned has been outstanding, plus what they're doing with their M&P line is impressing the heck out of me. I can't tell you about their customer service because I have never had to use it.

I agree on S&W knives, they dont make them themselves but they do put they name on cheap produced blades.
For me when I buy a S&W knife I dont buy S&W quality like I do with their guns.I buy a chinese made knife with their logo on it, that's it.

Though I own a few brands, my vote goes to Smith & Wesson. As far as handguns as well as M&P Rifles I see quality, good customer service and a long history. One thing that's a big plus for me is MADE IN USA
