Incompitano deploys more Border Patrol Agents

This is great. Looks like Janet Incompitano (Big Sis) is deploying more Border Patrol Agents to the border "to try to secure the country’s borders from militants, as well as from weapons and drug smugglers". Unfortunate, it's not our border. It's Afganistan's.

Napolitano also is accompanied by six DHS customs and border security agents who will join already personnel in Afghanistan to provide civilian security assistance to local officials. These officers work with the Afghan government to try to secure the country’s borders from militants, as well as from weapons and drug smugglers.

"In the last twelve months, DHS has expanded its effort here [Afganistan] in support of President Obama's policy of civilian engagement,” Napolitano said in a statement.

WTF? We can't control our own borders. Now we're sending Border Patrol agents over to Afganistan? Border Patrol agents into a war zone? Seriously? Don't we need them on our own border? We're putting National Guard on our border. This this like Wife Swap? Why is it important to protect Afganistan's borders but not our own? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I didn't search for the link, but one of the military guys in charge of securing the AFG/PAK border said it was impossible to think that they could secure a ~256Km border, especially in the wintertime.

I had the same thought as you when I read the above news story - Why are we trying to secure theirs when we aren't really trying (IMO) to secure our own, and with civilian people?

What rational, logical personn cannot attach the term "treason" to what this administration is doing to America? Our borders/immigration issue is an affront to any rational/logical person, a private entity is allowed to control/print our money, obvious fraud/deceit in the $ trillion + financial/derivatives markets is not only NOT prosecuted, it is rewarded with more mone money stolen from future generations and ratings agencies that rated the junk derivatives as AAA are STILL in business and even bigger. Throw in the "every breathing person has the right to a house" housing policy backed up by an encouraged, non-regulated, and ONCE AGAIN a taxpayer backed housing industry, a government encouraged higher education system that is mediocre at best and so expensive that most people have to get a loan from the government (MONOPOLY on higher ed loans) which then has control over you through non-recourse loan obligation, AND the hidden biggie - the healthcare weapon (too many issues to list here)!
The icing on the cake is the unsustainable, soon-to-implode Big 3 - Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid! Oh yeah (sorry, I'm on a roll!) we have the states/communities struggling with their overly generous and unsustainable pension/retirement obligations that most non-union workers don't have!

Whew! Sorry for the rant, but when one thinks about all of the problems we're facing, one has to seriously consider if a meltdown wouldn't be the best option and then we could start over. Russia and Argentina didn't disappear from the map, nor would we. AND, we even have the Constitution to fall back on, only I would hope and pray that this time we would be more apt to pay more attention to it after suffering through the alternative of NOT abiding by it!
