Picked up 3 boxes of 45 auto fmj Independence ammo the other day. Every round in all 3 boxes was headstamped Blazer. Are they produced together or what? They fired OK, just curious.

Independence ammunition reloads some of their ammunition, and they do a good job of headstamp sorting the brass. I have about 500 rounds of Independence .357 Mag, and it is all Starline brass. :rockwoot:

Like mike said Independence uses once shot brass for their ammunition. That is why they are a little bit cheaper to buy than fresh new brass. There is nothing wrong with independence but you do not know what kind of brass you may end up with when you buy a box or so of it. But if it is properly sized and tumbled you should not have any problems with it whatsoever.
