    Where's Rambone?

    I know, I shouldn't make fun...

But it's scary how close to the truth he hits sometimes. Even if it IS uncomfortable to contemplate sometimes...

Easy. Find all the major cities and large towns on the map. Then, find all of the large, fenced in areas nearby (airports, fairgrounds, etc...). There you go.

Or Scutter's place. Hard to tell.

NOT at Muscatatuk Urban Training Center or Camp Atterbury Joint Military Training Center OR the Beech Grove AMTRAK yards.

Just an FYI, it's been years since I've been involved in Emergency Management, but, as I recall, the American Red Cross has the government mandate for disaster sheltering in the National Response Plan. One of the requirements when the Red Cross sets up a large shelter facility is that there be security to keep the shelter occupants safe. Now, in ordinary disaster situations where the Red Cross is able to send folks to hotels and apartments, this security requirement isn't needed, but in a mass sheltering situation, you could expect to see LEO/DoD personnel - in limited numbers - providing security, for a tent city perhaps. Unlikely there would be any wire barriers in a Red Cross shelter.

....the American Red Cross has the government mandate for disaster sheltering in the National Response Plan....

I have my own mandate of taking care of myself and my own family.

My personal preference is to first bug-in to my own home. Don't answer the phone (if there is service). Don't answer the door.

If that isn't an option, get way out of the area and to somewhere that isn't affected. Stay off the interstates, and away from population centers when enroute to my destination.

Meet threats with appropriate, overwhelming response.

    We are slipping

I can't believe it. Two whole pages of this and no mention of tinfoil hats or sheeple. I'll take care of the tinfoil hat part if somebody else can cover the sheeple.

1-2-3...Here we go...Much as some would like to believe, and drag you down with them, the closest thing to "FEMA Camps" you'll find are exactly as BlackHawk2001 described. Hammer your tinfoil hats into TV antennas!

I don't know where to buy tinfoil.

All they have at the store is aluminum foil.

my local stores are sold out....must be a bunch of INGO'ers in my AO :tinfoil:

maybe the American Red Cross sent in armed storm troopers to collect it all....I had a friend who has been a red cross volunteer since as far back as I can remember...she used to tell me these lies about "helping families after a fire" or whatever....needless to say thanks to INGO, she's no longer my friend now that I know her REAL motives. We must be vigilant folks...
