Two Day Precision Long Range Rifle Immersion Course
Who: CourseConducted by Will Farrugia, Lead Instructor for Florida Firearms Training LLC (www.floridafirearmstraining.com)
How Many: Thisclass is limited to 6 Students only! First 6 to sign up are in.
What: This coursewill be invaluable to anyone who wants to experience the satisfaction of longrange precision marksmanship. It is specifically designed around the needs ofshooters (both new and old) that are interested in learning the fundamentalskills for shooting accurately at long range. Course intent is to cover thetechniques required to achieve first round hits out to 600 yards with bonustargets out to1000 yards.
Where: Coursewill be hosted at the beautiful HillsideShooting Sports range located just outside the small town of Roanoke in the northeast part of Indiana. The range is positioned on600 hundred acres of rolling hills and beautiful farm land. There is convenientaccess to the range and plenty of parking to accommodate. Location is just 5minutes east of Highway 24, and about 6 minutes west of I-69.
The facility has a reactive steel rifle range with paper andsteel targets on berms located at 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 600 and 1000 yards. See more: www.hillsideshootingsports.com
Course Includes: Classroomand on-range practical training that includes Rifle Set-up, Optic Set-up andCorrect Placement, Sighting In, Bi-pod, Sling and Ammunition Selection andBallistic Comparisons, Correct Bench and Prone Shooting Positions,Understanding Eye Relief, Breathing, Grip, Trigger Control, Follow Through,doping rifle to 1000 yards. Anyone interested in placing precision fire ontargets at or near the maximum effective range of their rifle will learn theart and science involved in doing so in this course. Students that complete thecourse will leave with a combined knowledge of their personal capabilities withtheir equipment. Space is limited to sixstudents.

Ammunition Required:200 rounds of match grade ammunition min. NO Steel Core or Penetrating ammoallowed.
Prerequisites:Students must be safe and competent with their chosen rifle.
Additional Equipment:A .308 or similar caliber Precision Rifle capable of Minute of Angle Accuracy(Precision rifles are a necessity for a course of this kind.), QualityAdjustable Scope (A scope that will allow for precision shooting at 500+ yards,Mil Dot, Target Turrets, BDC or Meridian Reticules are recommended.), Bipod,Sling, Rear Bag, Shooting Matt, Binos / Spotting Scope, Head Cover, CleaningKit, Pen / Pencil, Highlighter, Rifle Data Book and Notebook, Calculator.
