Just saw this on I70:

VW bug, newer kind, pulled over.
ISP cruiser sitting behind it, lights on full.
Front door of WV open and lady driver standing at rear of vehicle. (uh oh!)
Lady driver wearing nurse's uniform. (unlikely to be drug currier or criminal!)
Trunk open wide. (what? They think there's drugs in there?)
So there she was, helplessly watching.
And can you imagine what this trooper, easily twice her size, was doing?






He was changing her tire for her!

ISP was busy in my area yesterday checking on broken down vehicles littering the highways. Make sure you check your tires, fuel levels, etc. when the weather is as hot as it was the past few days. The heat takes a toll, and you don't want to be stuck on the side of the road in this weather.

I keed, I keed. A GF who was a former state trooper helped change lots of tires. She said it got both of them off the interstate faster and safer than if she had to wait for the tow service since she could usually get it done within 5 minutes or so.

99% of ISP troopers I would expect no less. Thing is, he must have not listened to his sensitivity training. I mean she should be changing her own tire, you know womens lib and such...
