Anyone out there today? Experiences, input?

Walked in the main gate off Crawfordsville. They were check coolers and bags in 2 lanes, I was guided to the "express" lane since was carrying neither, slid by with barely a glance. I would think race day would be different, but who knows

Similar experience here. Got there late so nearly nobody was waiting to go in. Lots of yellow shirts standing around. I only had a jacket. They poked at that looking for anything, found none and sent me in.

I did notice they had LOTS of lanes set up for inspection stations so they are prepared for lots of people doing lots of checks on coolers and backpacks for sure.

I was there yesterday they don't check but they will not allow them in if they see them

Just walked in.

They are checking nothing but bags and coolers. No wands, no pat downs.

Cool. I finally get to watch the Indy 500 live on TV again for the first time in years. The Terre Haute ABC affiliate, WAWV is showing it live.
