I have a property outside of Bloomfield that I need to put in a gravel driveway base and pad. It is going to be about 6 yards of gravel. Does anyone have info/suggestions on who I could use? I called Bloomington Mulch and they don't have a truck big enough.
where do you need it?......i have a 4x4 1 ton i can haul 4 tons at a time.......i'm by the Bloomington crane gate....should be able to get you 6 yards in 2 loads...
Check with the County, you probably need an "Access Permit", you may also need a Culvert. Much cheaper to do this at the start of the project, than to redo it after. On a new project 6 yards of Aggregate does not go very far.
The property already has an entry driveway in it. just "roughed" in I guess you can call it. I am just needing it to go in a little further more than anything. Plus then a pad to use for my 7x7 shed and small cabin
I don't know where you're located of if this will work but I contact Rogers when I need to refresh our driveway. They have a crushed stone operation a few miles west of us and it looks like they've got one on Siebert Quarry Rd in western Lawrence county and close to Greene county. They might work for you.
