I had one of their carbines and put a scope on it.
At 25 yards it would put all of them in a 1" circle.
Not a hang up in a couple a thousand rounds.
I was completly happy with it.:ar15:

I've only shot one Hi-Point; it's one of their carbines. It worked great for me. Enjoyed shooting it, and wouldn't mind picking one up someday if I see a good deal on it.

I'm asking this question out of sheer curiosity. Value judgment is not intended.

Don't you guys want to be respectable at work? Be courteous, professional, competent, and polite, requiring nothing less from the people you work with...
    Here is the deal
I'm not calling BlueEagle's cousin a liar but neither am I going to get all bent out of shape over hearsay, on the internet, from somebody I don't know. All of my dealings with Hi Point, so far have been positive and their customer service is second to none. If the owner has a drinking problem and if the employees go around shirtless, it has had no affect on me so far.

lol. Are you kidding me? 10 years ago when I was a bit more proud and self righteous, this would have greatly offended me. But now that I'm older and wiser and realize I'm nothing special and part of the human race myself..I could care less. As long as no one is getting hurt and guns are not getting stolen from there, then who cares. I would rather live in a country where a factory worker can have a beer while he milled out the hole in my hi point's slide then a country that would put him in jail for doing that.

If I was a small business owner with this government, I'd be blitzed 24/7, too.

That said Hi-Points are the AK's of pistol's. Love them.

Found this picture online taken inside the factory...looks like a pole barn, but the dude is wearing a shirt and no beer in hand :dunno:

I agree, the google map views do make the facility look small!

    Told by who?

A buddy at work told me he traded in his Hi point 380 to a local shop and they sold it in 2 days. When he asked how it got sold so quick the store owner said they didn't make the pistols anymore so used ones go super fast.

So to be fair it was 2nd hand info. I hope I am wrong so I can get a 9mm

How can a company that builds "The most reliable, most accurate, most well built handgun ever (and it's pretty too)" quit selling handguns? I bet all of the collectors will snatch them up and they will skyrocket like Pythons did.
