In a few hours I will be going to Evansville Regional Airport to pick up my fiances mom from a trip. I am allowed to carry in the airport, right? I am not boarding a flight. Just gonna grab her bags for her, and walk out.

Seriously, you might be bet if you cc up until the security checkpoint. No, not a bash on oc because I open carry, but for some things I compromise.

Perfectly legal right up to the security checkpoint - your mileage may vary on what shenanigans you could be subjected to. Might print out the pertinent parts of the IC and hand it off if accosted. If that doesn't work I'd shut my mouth, call a lawyer and start dreaming about being awarded your very own municipal airport in a settlement. I think the zoo is already spoken for.
