Alas, my .22 hasn't gotten it's sling attached yet. I'm afraid to screw up the stock if I do it myself. Plus I'd have like 120lbs of gear and I've only been training for 60lbs.

no you need a hovercraft. There's a rental place close by, but if you haven't made a reservation you might be in trouble.
